Through our Science curriculum we want to develop in all young people a lifelong curiosity and interest in the sciences. Over time, the development of Science has changed our lives and the world in which we live – and is vital to the prosperity of our world’s future.
At Kinnerley Primary School, we strive to teach our pupils the knowledge, methods, processes and uses of Science, whilst promoting its significant place in our world. Our aim is that children will know more, understand more and be able to explain more. We want children to feel confident in their science knowledge and enquiry skills, to be excited about science, to show that they are actively curious to learn more and will see the relevance of what they learn in science lessons to real-life situations and also the importance of science in the real world.
